So provided you do use gaming consoles, why do you use the particular ones you do? Why did you buy a PS3 over an xbox for example. Why do you have both? Why an xbox over a PS3? If you play on PC, why do you not play console? etc etc.

Also if you have both/all, what one do you use more and why?

Maybe you don't even have a next generation console and use something like a DS.

Just post about it below, you could mention stuff like games, you don't like how the online works, you do like how the online works, you don't want to pay for online, your friend had one and he liked it, etc.

Personally I own a PS3 and an xbox 360, I got the PS3 back in 2007 due to having the PS2 for a long time no troubles and I loved the games on there, in particular the MGS and Gran Turismo series. In late 2010 I decided to buy an xbox and black ops instead of BO for PS3 just for a difference and quite a few of my mates already have xbox 360. I use them both but the xbox more than the PS3 these days.

I started out with a PS3, and I was happy with it for a few years, but this past Christmas I got an xbox, which most of my friends in real life have, which very quickly made me play it much more. Then I got console banned from Black Ops on ps3, and decided to start playing legit on xbox, which is a lot more fun in my opinion. My ps3 kinda just sits and collects dust, which I'm not proud of but it's just not very much fun anymore.

I rarely use either of my gaming consoles anymore. Life is becoming more and more demanding right now, but when I have time, I play to play. Get away from things, and all that.

I had an xbox 360 before, and it was a fail. It had so many problems, so we bought a PS3. It was fine, but I wanted to play the xbox exclusives again.

Now I own both, and rarely play on them at all.

I have a PS3 because I started off my gaming with a PS1, followed by PS2 and now 3.
The only handheld gaming device I bought was a gameboy because, 1. It's the shit, and 2. ****ing Pokemon!

I'll probably continue to buy Playstations unless I get banned :rolleyes:

I bought PS3 in April 2009, because my friends always talked about how great it's and I was jealous and wanted to play online with them.

The only reason I got a ps3 really was because I had a ps1 and ps2 up until then and I loved them :y:
I didn't see any reason to switch to xbox, seeing as how I am used to the controllers, customer support, etc.
Besides that my friends all had ps3's, and the whole point I even got a console was to play cod with them

i have played playstation since the beginning, i bought an xbox 360 when it came out, it red ringed 4 times in 3 months. thats why im a ps3 fanboy, same with xbox users, they probably had a ps3 issue and went to 360, understandable...i just like ps3s better processing power and cell power. and better hardware and web browser functions. and sony has a long history of reliability in their products, so far..microsoft has yet to establish that to me, all my windows pcs have had major issues at one pointor another. yet, i still own a 46 inch projection tv from 1994 made by sony, and works perfect. bottom line, sony makes better hardware and dominates that area of consoles, microsoft dominates the software. as long as gaming makes you happy, it shouldnt matter what you use to play. but my IMO..you get more out of the console itself from sony.

i also like ps3 better cuz the controllers feel easier to use, the analog sticks on a 360 controller seem like you have to adjust your hand too much to use it right. plus, i HATE having to use the triggers on the 360 to shoot on blops, the R1 and L1 buttons are easier to use and fire than pressing in the weirdly curved triggers. even with that said, i still enjoy some games on the 360, like gears of war, and halo.

I own a 2 ps3's. I had one xbox i loved how xboxs party chat and all that was. thats one thing i hate about ps3. And another thing b.ops for ps3 = shit way better than xbox. Now i have to ps3's cuz the one is a 3.41 and my other one which is being sent back from sony which ill get soon. My preference over xbox/ps3 Is xbox's multiplayer connectivity. And plus xbox's controllers =
