So provided you do use gaming consoles, why do you use the particular ones you do? Why did you buy a PS3 over an xbox for example. Why do you have both? Why an xbox over a PS3? If you play on PC, why do you not play console? etc etc.

Also if you have both/all, what one do you use more and why?

Maybe you don't even have a next generation console and use something like a DS.

Just post about it below, you could mention stuff like games, you don't like how the online works, you do like how the online works, you don't want to pay for online, your friend had one and he liked it, etc.

Personally I own a PS3 and an xbox 360, I got the PS3 back in 2007 due to having the PS2 for a long time no troubles and I loved the games on there, in particular the MGS and Gran Turismo series. In late 2010 I decided to buy an xbox and black ops instead of BO for PS3 just for a difference and quite a few of my mates already have xbox 360. I use them both but the xbox more than the PS3 these days.

Thats exactly the same case with me, we need to own more noobs in black ops :y:

I use my Xbox to have fun. If I'm in the mood for getting mad all the time, I play on my PS3.

Ps3. The only reason is that it uses Blu-Ray :wub:

i have a ps3, i chose to get a ps3 over xbox because most of my friends are on ps3 and the ones on xbox are switching to ps3.

I only have a PS3. I bought it because I already owned a PS1 and a PS2. Sometimes I thought about my own XBOX 360 in my room, because most of my friends had one. But I didn't want to pay for playing online. That's why I continue playing PS3. I never used the web browser of my PS3 because I got my laptop 2 meters next to my PS3, but I always use my PS3 to watch DVDs and some pictures when someone of my family was on holiday and shit.

It is nice to see a productive discussion thread again.

I got the PS3 because I play in the family room and it saves space with a DVD player and has more flexability as an extra PC.

Both systems have their pros and cons and I get jealous of microsofts relationship with some of the game distributors( 1 month wait on DLC's and playability issues) but overall I'm content with PS3.
