(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Recently Obama sent over troops in Libya to aid the French which has created for an even greater civil war in Libya that has no end.(Gaddafi will not step down). This situation could have definetly been better handled- by Obama going to NATO and discussing a resolution that was bipartisin(not just solely based on his mal judgement as a president). Not only has there been uproar in Libya but throughout all parts of the middle east like Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to name a few. So what are your guys opinions on the protests in these countries? And what action do you feel the U.S should take if they should even make one at all?

I disagree. The problem with all of the Middle Eastern countries in turmoil is the radical groups eying to gain control, such as the Muslim brotherhood. Therefore us helping the rebels makes us look better and less likely for hate toward the US.

However, this war is more then that.....the sad thing is it could have been better handled 3 weeks ago when the rebels had most parts of Libya controlled xcept Tripoli. We could have hit Gaddafi hard then-_______- its a shame that a 16 year old knows more then a 50 year old man. I feel as tho the word precocious is becoming less valid....when a kid understands the means of foreign policy and our commander and chief just sits back and picks out who he thinks will win march madness. Truly a shame....how hard it is to find a well rounded president....idgaf about race just give me a courageous man that will truly be recognized as a great face for America in terms of foreign policy and other decision he makes in office

I don't think its an uneducated argument. Almost every time America has entered a war it was for personal reasons, they didn't enter Iraq for wmds and same with Afghanistan. It was for the oil and the profits to gain from it. You could say the US is smart and knows how to get what it wants.

The common man might think this is still helping but I can assure you the state of Iraq at the moment is in chaos. Like every other country in the world they have problems, I dont think you should interfere. Don't believe everything you hear on the news.

Obama said in one of his speeches: "Gaddafi was suppressing his people and that “left unchecked, we have every reason to believe that Gaddhafi would commit atrocities against his people. Many thousands could die. A humanitarian crisis would ensue."

The fighting in Libya is between pro Ghaddafi supporters and rebels and parts of the defected from the army. However, I don't think that the rest of Libya is truly going through a humanitarian crisis. And for sure whatever is happening in Libya is not destabilising the middle east. Cause the exact same is happening in Yemen and Bahrain but it is less televised and it hasn't destabilised anything. It sounds like the situation is so bad and civilians are being killed for no reason. But have we seen any of that, there is no hard evidence other than here say. Again America is going to war with very little justification.

This sounds like an attack on America but I direct it to all the countries that like to interfere. There are others ways of dealing with these situations.

Also saying that throughout time the US has been dedicated to the protection of its allies is total nonsense. Maybe for the past century however before that the Russian empire, Great Britain, Prussia, Germany, the Arabs were all power houses that dictated what went on in the world. It is all a cycle and eventually the US will lose its power to another country and lose its control. Then do you think they would like it if all the countries they invaded came back to invade the US?

Please next time ask me to explain and not directly jump to the conclusion that I am uneducated. You are only 16 so don't mouth off.

First of all just to start man not trying to be blunt here but you are not even an American citizen you are British. I mean it is even much for me to speculate(it is more then you or me to decide what you think American should or should not do that has to come from a direct source-just saying). Also, how can you say that the intentions of the Iraq were solely for oil purposes that is a assumption that has been brought up by the media to pollute minds as yourself(i'm not saying it isnt true but we will never know). Continuing on your point, of course Iraq is still in crisis American soldiers who have served in Iraq have described the conditions to the like's of a prehistoric age. But, that ship has sailed and are troops have been sent out of Iraq to an even worse of a sesspool, Afghanistan. However, I do agree with your point on Obama, he by far has the worst mindset of foreign policy comparable to Jimmy Carter. His intentions to call for a change in Libya came 3 weeks too late. If you remember hearing this news, 3 weeks ago the rebel fighters had taken control over if not all, most villages and cities throughout Libya excluding Tripoli. At this moment we could have hit Gaddafi hard and figured out a plan through NATO to reach Gaddafi in Tripoli at his weakest moment and remove him from power. Going back on my point that the U.S has been dedicated to protecting its allies I mean't through its existence as a country not throughout all history. I worded it wrong:mad:.

I think the us should try to make this country better (i aint hating on the us). But they really should try to spend there money on trying to get the encomy and have more programs for homeless ppl. Also they should really help out public schools cause mine is terrible. Instead of spending money on another war.
