I can't wait for tooth regeneration. I won't have to brush my teeth and I could eat all the shit I want while taking those anti-fat pills so I don't get fat. God, I can't wait =D

Yea so technology will 'boom' in my lifetime, however i would rather live in the 23rd century than 21st; why? because technology is advancing at an alarming rate ( personal computers have been out for what, 30-40 years? look at the most advanced ones of today, it's amazing) However, when the degenerate era ends (when there is nothing left in the universe, not even black holes) it makes me feel sick on the inside. Why?; well i cannot visualize an empty darkness, nothing in the universe at all, not even memories. I thought of this about 1 year ago and it haunts me each time i think of it. We won't even be a mere echo in the universe.

Look on the bright side - you won't be alive, or have any form of consciousness by the time this happens.

Yea true, but still, no one knows what happens after you die, i believe in two things - Re-encarnation and that your life 'repeats itself' but in different ways e.g. different time era, different financial background (e.g. you could be poor in one, but the world's richest man's son in the other)

Your consciousness is merely a product of the neural networks in your brain. When you take a drug, you alter your consciousness. When you have a stroke, you can permanently lose part of it. When your brain is split along the corpus callosum, you can develop two entirely separate consciousnesses. When you die, your brain is permanently destroyed, as is your consciousness.

This is nuts. Guys don't look to far ahead on that timeline. All of that was typed out by someone with the knowledge the currently have. also, the estimations and assumed are made with current evidence.

It's merely a vague guideline. The years from now to around 2030 is reasonable to say the least.

As we move forward, our knowledge increases. And as that increases, by the time EVERYONE realizes how bad our recourses are dwindling, we may have the technology/research to go to other galaxies/planets. I was watching a show on the Science Channel once, saying something called a "blackhole" is something in the galaxy, in which time freezes, and with further studies would possibly have the ability to use them as time portals/portals to travel to other galaxies; but I'm guessing that will be some time.
