As of Thursday afternoon, 11,438 were confirmed dead from the March 11 earthquake and subsequent tsunami, according to Japan's National Police Agency. There are 16,541 missing and 2,873 injured.

$4 a gallon isnt that bad UK prices work out as over $8 a gallon. and america is one of the cheapest places for it

Now they are forced to counter the decline they had for years.
Sadly this means japan has to fix it own problems or be faced with a even bigger problem. (If japan fails your see what could happen to the US if it carries on at the current rate for the next 20 years)
For the people who don't know japan has too many old people and can't fund it whole nation off it people forever.
