There's a big difference between rights and equality.

Women are legally equal to men, at least in the U.S. and most modern countries, but they're not always treated "socially equal". Its not right, but its true. The same could be true for African Americans as well, they may have the same rights as everyone, but it would be untrue to say that they not only face more racism than other races and cultures, but also often have to struggle more that other races to get the same benefits and rights.
I'm not at all saying its right or fair, just saying that its true.

Yes I understand :y:

I'm guessing your from america right? Because here in the UK there is are few against blacks their treated equally. I have learnt about the black cival rights in history, I would have thought now that there are few left who are against blacks, with a black president and all. Or is this not the case?

Definitely not the case, at least not always. There are studies that have been conducted that indicate even if you just have a "black-sounding" name you are less likely to be called back for a job interview.

Other studies show African American people are generally forced to do the same amount of work, for a lower income.

Even at my school I find more "racist jokes" about African Americans (and even my own race - Asians - some of which about the recent tsunami were very insulting) than other races.

I would just like to say its still discrimination when you change standards or give benefits toward a specific group.

That depends. In Orange County or most of California in general racism is nothing compared to in the Bible Belt.

I think the male has a head role to support her physically, and the girl is supposed to support him emotionally.

Some would see that view as "backwards", and sexist (mostly women) I agree with you though myself. Its an interesting topic.

I thought thia website described the problem brilliantly:

And I'm not even coming from a biased background. My parents are female supports physically, and my dad... I guess kinda supports emotionally lol. And that's why I can see how it just does not work.

Do a barrel roll!
No, woman and men are different, that should be apparently. Physiologically and psychologically, they are born different, so they will never become equal. No two men are even equal, so to say that man and woman are equal is an absurdity.

Absolute equal treatment is also absurd, that would be saying that if I like to **** girls, I should also like to **** men or I'm sexist. I agree with giving certain rights to women like voting, equal employment etc, because there is no logical evidence to suggest that women are impaired in such areas, but those rabid feminists who insist there are no differences between men and women just need to learn to use their brain.

My definition in equal is different than yours Happy . But yes I agree with you. Those feminists drive me crazy!!! You show you a chart showing a difference in brain patterns, genetics, body structure, brain, etc... Then they say, "Well you are just forging those." It is ridiculous.
