sign it even if you dont like the idea of marijuana. legalizing it would relieve the prison population. it would shut down big drug cartels and it would create less violence. theres tons of reasons to legalize marijuana. every signature counts

Try and legalize it for a year and no one will want it anymore. Many people do it because they like the fact that it's illegal. If it is legal and every other person they see is smoking it, it will make them want to stop. It might seem stupid at first but it's true.

you must not live in Cali lol over here there is a certain amount of weed you are allowed to carry before being arrested... let me rephrase that without using backspace... in California, possession of marijuana is a misdemeanor and if you are carrying one ounce (28.5 gms) or less it is punishable by a MAXIMUM $100 fine.
now for the non-pot heads out there... the top is an ounce. the bottom is what you would normally carry to get high with a friend or two... the law in California is an ounce because you will only carry an ounce if your SELLING it...

oh and btw if you ever got a traffic ticket for anything it usually is way more than the ticket you would get for carrying some weed... so back to my point... in California there was such a big problem about it that they decided to accept the fact that many ppl smoke it and just try to go after those who sell it =D

WOW, weed is such a touchy subject! Do you have any idea what kind of revenue that would bring the US? How about cutting our prison population down substancially? How many DUI fatallity cases involve alcohol? How many DUI fatallity cases involve marijuana? How many people are incarcerated over petty marijuana cases? Some things need to change. Another thing I'd like to point out is marijuana IS a major product and source of income for cartels (mexican cartels or whoever). Legalizing marijuana would'nt cripple the cartels but it will hit them heavy.

Wow ok I'm sorry I'm half out of it in graphics class i didn't realize p[perfect grammar was a necessity, and i do support this simply because the legalization of marijuana will bring relief with the tax's charged on it.

exactly. and there isnt 1 recorded overdose on marijuana ever. people call 911 sometimes because the effects are so strong. but marijuana does not affect your ability to drive straight like you said it does make you drive slower and more careful.
