He kept breaking the treaty slowly and Britain, as they are, felt sorry for them and let them off. Then he started slowly taking back the Rhineland (de militarised area in Germany's industrial part) and Britain again let him off. He then moved into Poland and so on. Then Britain threatened war if he took over Belgium, their allies, which he did and then Britain went to war.

Don't even get me ****ing started on the "America kicked their arses part" because you joined in in 1917 when the war started in 1914 and ended in 1918. And for WWII, the war started in 1939 and ended in 1945. When did America join? 1941 and you only joined because of Pearl Harbour (the correct spelling)

I didn't feel like writing a book or giving a history lesson. 2 sentences works for me.

Actually the majority of the German population was angry and felt mistreated by the reparations the Allies imposed on Germany.

Hitler only played off of that anger to gain power.

Also if I may edit in that Hitler gained his power through legal means. Without the emotions of the mass public to play off of...Hitler would of never gained power.

True, however not many Germans agreed with the invasions of other countries. And many knew what he was doing to the Jews, which some even harboured them to protect them. Hitler was a good leader, minus the war. He got unemployment up to pretty much 0%. That's why many of the Germans liked him and voted for him in the elections. Not many agreed with his invasions.

Invading which countries? Eastern Europe prior to the war or Western Europe during the war?

Your point was about what he did prior to World War II.

Hitler did bring unemployment to nearly 0% (more like 2-3%). That also doesn't include part time unemployment.

Despite the major unemployment drop...the standard of living of the German people did not improve. The jobs they usually performed were to prepare for war.

These jobs payed very little and did not improve the standard of living.

The only thing Hitler was a genius of was public speaking.

im not defending Hitler , but that post was very Ignorant . For one Hitlers book sold many copies so he was a successful Author , Also growing up he was an Artist .If thats not enough he did provide funds for the Volkswagen and the porsche. In the start of the war the NAZIs were INDOMITABLE . On top of that at the start of his reign he did solve all the economic problems from the treaty of Versailles . Once again i dont like Hitlers Actions , but to say that he was nothing but evil and brought no good is bullshit .
