Completely. Memory is pointless for the most part in testing. It is helpful for doctors. In Business, it is more about being able to adapt and knowing the basics. In investing, same as business. For teachers, it is about being able to teach the subject and well.
In a sense, it is short term memory.
Exactly, and my memory is complete and utter bollocks.
Anyone I know will tell you I'm good at debating because I'm good with words, will that come across in an exam? No.
I've also got common sense(something a lot of people lack), will that show itself in an exam? No.
Although in all fairness there are negatives such as I'm bad at talking to large crowds of people, but I'd want things like this to be known so my employer doesn't find out later on. Will that present itself in an exam? No.
All exams will do for me is show how rubbish my memory has become over the last few years, it bloody sucks :FU: And the same goes for everyone else, it's immensely unfair and quite frankly stupid.
