What the english or any nation did in the past does not excuse killing of innocent people in the name of the past. If you keep that logic all people should be dead.

I agree that ireland should be ireland however we should all live together and work together. We can't stand alone without each other we need each other more then at any time. Now not the time to divide each other based on a act of the past.

being honest though, obviously no irish person likes the fact that years back english people terrorised, raped and destroyed basically our entire culture in an attempt to get what little bit of land this country has. they went over board pretty much. but, that was then and today most english and british people arent as narrowminded as to hate us irish people just for being irish, the only ones that are like that are the ones that are fed second hand bullshit from their fathers and their fathers before them and it just led to them staying completely narrowminded and remaining as biggots like most rangers fans (NOT all) who are more involved and into the history behind the quarrels and bullshit than the actual sport the teams are playing. its no reason to target innocent people in london when really the problem lies at home here on our own island up the north where we have some of our own people surrounded by people that wish to be as british as possible.

the queen coming over doesnt bother me as much as the fact that she believes its good enough to avoid the reality of what would really bring peace once more. an ireland unfree will never be at peace.

I think they need to give us back OUR 6 counties and reunite Ireland the way it should be. If people from N.IRE disagree than your not Irish and should move to England. This would solve most problems.

The amount of Irish the English killed when they came to Ireland is uncountable theirs so much. I hate the way English people say "You's a killing civilians and innocent people. News flash English, nearly every English protestant person in Northern Ireland has had a relative fighting the Irish in some way and killing some of us. You say it's bad to kill civilians? Our Squad assassinated the Cairo Gang before, because they were uncover British Spies and WE WERE AT WAR, but instead of the English striking back at the IRA for these assassinations, the Black and Tans retaliated by shooting up a Gaelic football match between Dublin and Tipperary at Croke Park, killing 14 civilians including one of the players, Michael Hogan, and wounding 68. So England never say the IRA are terrorists killing innocent people, the IRA have killed protestants, who are unwelcome people living in our country, but you have done it as well by killing Catholics. We have a right to our 6 counties which we want back, and even if that means bombings and killings it's worth it, we want our united country. Tiocfaidh Ár Lá!

That true but killing people ain't going to get your nation back. It only makes your case look worse.
Killing people who never had there hand in this just drags more people into this never ending conflict and what does that do ? Does it end it ? no you only make it harder to get what you want. Also give more fuel to that fire.
I find the lost of life in any case terrible and i don't think it should be accepted or forgot. No NATION or person should be allowed to take a life.

Just to let you know that nearly every person on the planet has a family member who killed somebody who used to live there. So we all have a dirty past with enough blood on are hands.

Protestants living in ireland should be allowed to live there, and ireland should be joined but not at the cost of more blood.
