So some people may believe Aliens exist, other don't believe it one bit, but scientists claim they have found a new planet, Gliese 581d, that could harbour some of the same things that make Human life possible. Liquid water, Atmosphere, oceans, clouds and rainfall, all just 20 light years away, or 117 trillion miles. Scientists claim the new planet is in the "Goldilocks zone", not too near or too far from the sun, too cold or too hot, thus meaning water could exist as liquid form, vital for human survival. However, they claim that the planet could have double the gravity than that on Earth, and a denser air and clouds, keeping the surface in a perpetual murky red twilight. Don't hold your breath just yet though.

What strikes me is that the fact there's an alien planet. If they found another planet that's understandable and believable that the fact scientists have discovered plants in the past and will continue to do their great work. This so called Alien planet sounds weird to an extent as if you think about it for a second, they believe Aliens may possibly live there? As far as I'm concerned with aliens I don't believe them one bit but that's just my opinion you may disagree with it.
Adding to this human survival could work, I think this is a great discovery as they've found something that can be really vital and be major help to humans. It's not hot or too cold which makes it magnificent as we are aware the temperature won't drop significantly as it does in the Earth. If liquid exists on there that can also be vital meaning possibly some sort of life can go there as there's that essential water, if they've found water on there as liquid form imagine what they can find. The good resources that can be crucial as at the current stages the world's running out and day by day it'll continue doing so.
You have to an extent agree with a scientist with one thing or another, I don't believe their claims of the world ending 2012 but not all scientists agree with that even scientists agree with the 2012 theory. I don't think the scientists would lie about something like this as they'd have to prove that it's a legitimate find and they've found something that they've claimed to have found but like I've said this find could be extremely life-changing in a sense.
Can you tell me where is this telescope situated?? Because I cant find the place in the article and here in Puerto Rico we have the "Arecibo Radiotelescope" that is a giant plate like that :p
I'm not sure where as I don't live in America. But I saw one that claimed it was the biggest. Yet, I'm sure a lot claim theirs is the biggest.
