Since you've shown interest here it is...
Meditation is about connecting the body and mind in unison,or become as one.
Meditation is also about exploring our “consciousness”,at the same time knocking on the door of “sleep”.
Meditation should not be done at night times as your body will think it’s going to sleep.
There are 3 components to achieve proper meditation.
Relaxation – Relaxation refers to “calming” the muscles from head to toe.
Breathing - Every breath inhaled and exhaled should be slow and deliberate, similar to how one breathes when asleep.
Thoughts - One must clear all thoughts lingering in our minds.By that, I mean to not think about anything at all.
Once this is understood, meditation can commence.
I’ll take you on a step by step process as it will be easier to follow and understand.
*Before we start Step 1,think of a place that you would want to be in that makes you feel comfortable and happy as this will keep the body relaxed, the mind at ease and your heart at a steady rate.
Find a tranquil and secure environment to meditate in,as you would not want, nor need disturbances(if possible).
Step 1
First, lie down(as I find lying down to be the best way to relax the whole body) somewhere level and comfortable with both arms by your side.
Now relax your body, starting from your neck muscles to your toes.
If this is done right, you should feel no tension throughout your whole body.
Step 2
As your body relaxes,so will your breathing become more shallow.
Breathing is second nature to us,but at the start of meditation, you must control each breath inhaled/exhaled to be light and shallow to slowly reduce your heartrate. You’ll know the breathing is correct if you feel as though you’re sleeping, consciously.
Step 3
As you close your eyes, the first thing you see is total darkness.
The darkness is what you should focus on.
Think of it as like you’re trying to find this light at the end of the tunnel, but will not find it,tricking the mind into an infinite loop.
You are using your mind to do just this one particular task,in turn no thoughts will cloud it.
This is the best method that I’ve found to clear the mind of all thoughts.
Step 4
Now,remember that comfortable and happy place you thought about before Step 1?
Try and go to that place.
Navigate around and explore the environment.
You should be conscious and know exactly what is happening.
There you have it,meditation.
I start from Step 1 to 4 everytime I meditate so as to get the body and mind into a progressive rhythm.
There are many ways and methods to meditate.
This is the easiest and simplest method I can think of that does not fail, time after time.
Good Luck
Thanx dude. Plus rep, oh wait
