18 year old Tyell Morton is facing 2-8 years in prison because of a harmless senior prank. You may be asking what sort of ruthless mayhem occurred for him to deserve this.

Morton placed a package with a blow-up doll inside of it, in the girls' restroom at his school. The school was evacuated and the Indiana State Bomb Squad was called in (because they thought it was a bomb).

The incident claimed to cost the school over $8000. Morton, who has never been in trouble with the law before is wondering how the situation got so bad. His bond has been placed near $30,000.

If he is found guilty, he will not get to go to graduation, and will be banned from visiting school property.

That's ridiculous. Why would they assume that it was a bomb? I need to see some pictures. Maybe it resembled a bomb or something..?

Seriously, does no one read the real source.

If you did you would realize they thought it was an explosive device because cameras caught someone wearing a black costume go inside.

That was the video they saw of him leaving the building after leaving the concealed box behind.

I don't know how someone wouldn't think this would cause problems as it was beyond suspicious and somewhat stupid to put the prank where there is nothing, but cameras. Anyways, I don't think he deserves 8 years in jail or even 2. I say he should be responsible for the debt collected, be forced to do community service, and gets at most suspended from school for a week. After all without a previous record I don't think he deserves any harsher punishment.

I can tell you didn't read the article considering when he placed the box he was covered in suspicious black clothing.

Long gone are the days when you can actually pull a prank without being considered a terrorist. Hysteria these days is just unbelievable. You'd think someone would have the ****ing common sense to see that it was a prank, there was no malicious intent and just give the guy a warning.
