I'm 17 and I got my Red Cross lifeguarding certs which costed me a couple hundred to get
I applied to 7 different pools and got accepted to 1(the one I wanted lol). All the old ****s are applying for their old jobs from High School(lifegurading)becuase they need money and got laid off. And lifeguards get paid good, usually around $10/hour to sit on their ass and do nothing really
My friends dad got laid off and a person in my English class(when school was in) was crying becuase her house is going through foreclosure

I know, miss johnson always needs her seventeen kids watched and you're more than willing to play with sixteen diapers and balls for a measly twenty dollars that you can put toward another video game.
LOL That is so true. I told my friend that I finally got a job and he tried to brag said he babysits for $50 an hour. I asked him how often he does that and he said once a year lol

Nope, I buy the bulk packages, so like thirty-seven cents each. Still, I'm just as ****ed. Because sexual things aren't just limited to condoms - I need to buy vibrating rings by Trojan every other week as a sunday-night sex gift for my girlfriend along with KY Warm Sensation lubrication, and on top of all of that, I am buying her birth control through Canadian pharmacies.
Are you serious? lool

Lucky bastard. Hope that you get nuked by North Korea. Ohio is devastated by the recession - let me tell you. I see tons of houses up for sale in the suburbs, tons of friend's parents have lost or are losing their jobs. The GM shut down has pretty much made me and my job expectations in the car industry fly down the tubes since I was going into a dealership as an assistant earlier last year. All that. I'm not as near in a bad position as some other places like in Arizona or California - but still. It's pretty bad when college kids are coming back with full degrees and are unable to find any jobs in their career. I have a brother with a double major in both Computer Science and in German who can't find a reasonable salary job and my fiance's brother has a single major in aeronautical engineering and the closest thing he's got is *MAYBE* a job with the air force for a fraction of what he was basing his loan off of originally.
My uncle worked at a GM plant in Michigan and got laid off. I think he saved enough to retire though. He knew GM was going down. Funny thing is when you go to Michigan its all American cars and you go to California its all toyotas, hondas, etc.
Your friend should look into the Air National Guard--they have loan repayment programs.
