Okay. So guys, I know there's some older ones out there on this forum. I'm currently running a 7.7% chance at hitting an interview with any single application, and a current 0% chance at getting a job.
That means a lot, seeing as how I've applied to more than fifteen places. Some are food related, some are modeling related, some are computer related, and some are clothes related. Yup. The economy blows. BOTH my internships, not just one, but BOTH have been ripped apart due to cutbacks by both companies.
All my friends, or well.. most.. have been stuck in this whirlwind economy trying to find ways to make ends meet. I'm trying to pay off my ever-larger incurring debt that I am making including the ever-growing list of things I need. I haven't yet applied to internships outside the other two where I was supposed to get in because my resume sucks..

So now, I'm stuck putting together a resume. You know what sucks? I used to work a shit ton back in the day at Kroger and I made a pretty good name for myself but in a fit of rage, I had quit without notice because they had sand in their vaginas one day and wouldn't let me leave to go wakeboarding on a nice summer day. I stripped in the parking lot, put on a swimsuit, and left. IN FRONT OF MY MANAGERS. :] That's a great way to say "**** you" and leave on a bad note. Yup. So now I'm stuck down to only one work related reference. Guys, when it comes to stupid shit like this - it hits and sucks. Never quit without notice.

Beer.
Weed.
Condoms.
And that makes my life suck miserably.

I hate taxes..I got my paycheck today. I was supposed to get 622.72 but got paid 550.58 because of taxes.

Ha i like how a minority of English people make ıt stound if there the only one part of the UK there is still N.I and Scotland i'm in a job placement at the moment so there isn't much budge for me unless the company i work for goes down hill but ill just get shifted to another place, had a interview with Honda phoenix they said i'm a definite candidate so that sounds good theres 3 people going for the job and two places open and I'm the only one with mechanical experience out of the lot *touch wood*

I need a job, and there isnt any going at all. And the ones that are have like 200+ applicants.

Ok this is a good lesson for all you youngsters, I will celebrate my ten year anniversary with my company June 21. Loyalty is often repaid in kind. You never ever...ever....ever...ever quit with no notice! Rust, you don't need condoms because quitting with no notice, is successfully ****ing yourself, snd I'm sure you won't get pregnate. The funny thing about the economy is I live in the same area as Dirty and I see it from a different perspective, while I still make the same salary I can tell you that people are spending less money. I run a restaurant and I can tell you that people are buying 4 beers at $4 each and not buying a $20 steak. And thats a fact that I can back up. So it just depends on your perspective, just remember never burn a bridge, especially to go wake boarding for god sake!

I took a pretty good hit man from all this bullshit. When I turned 18 I got an awesome job as an electrician's helper started at 8.50, money was decent I guess. But the next 3 years were promising, I ran my own truck with my own little helper I climbed the ranks all the way to 13.50 an hour. The money was amazing, I ****ing loved it I had never seen paychecks like this before and I was getting OT like crazy. Well, the beginning of this year it took a big turn, at a company with 38 employees, by the end of january we were down to 6 people, and by the end of february, 3 people. Then come march 14th, me and my helper were the last ones to get laid off after we'd spent the last week cleaning out our shop so the owner could lease it to someone else. It was a really depressing time, hours were cut, and money started to get scarce.

Well since I got laid off I make 300 a week, it's "OK" I guess, but it's nothing like what I was bringing in. It was nice at first getting a break, but after a month our savings were drained trying to pay for all this bullshit we have. Me and my girlfriend are struggling man, it's never been like this I want so bad to go back to work and make decent money again. Me and my girlfriend have had to go without so much since this happened it sucks. I really hope someone gives me a job soon, I've been trying just like you....but no luck, this can't last forever I keep saying.

Well if Obama makes marijuana legal, i out of work...
