I have both systems and I personally think ps3 is better but I do enjoy going on my xbox.

Just buy a Nintendo 64. :y:

If you want to have more fun than being competitive, ps3 is the way to go. If you want to go serious and have competitive gameplay, xbox is what you wanna have.

Xbox pros:
52% more chances of getting into a server without lag.
Has a lot, a LOT of games to choose.
Better voice chat.

Xbox Cons:
You have to pay.
No blu-ray.

Ps3 Pros:
Blu-ray,
Fun games to play like, heavenly sword, infamous, god of war... etc.
Free online.

Ps3 cons:
More chances of getting to a laggy server.
Voice chat is bit weird.


Those are basically what you wanna look at, their basically equal on both pros and cons...

i have both ps3 and 360.
Me personally like xbox more, mainly because party chat, not alot of lag.
i also like the controller better, i enjoy xbox more

I recommend the Xbox bud. The Xbox has a better security system and what just now happind to Sony? They just got hacked and Xbox has never been hacked. I suggest the Xbox.

1. Learn what consoles your friends have. This is how many decide on their console
2. That's about it

Xbox
- A cleaner more interactive interface
- Ability to listen to music in-game
- Much better server quality
- Doesn't make you sign an agreement that says they can monitor what you put on it at any given time ( F*** Sony)
- Controller is much better designed for most games, including FPS's
- Good customer service
- Controllers with different battery options
- The Kinect
- More memory and cheaper than a PS3 when first bought
- All its exclusives (Halo, Gears of War, Fable, Mass Effect, etc...)

PS3
- Bluray will begin to have an effect in the coming years of gaming
- Free online
- Sony exclusives (Infamous, Killzone, etc...)

In all honesty, Xbox is much better if you are willing to pay the 60 bucks for the quality. I have all 3 consoles and switched from PS3 to Xbox. I'll probably be flamed, but most people who support the PS3 are fan boys. PlayStation is cruel to the consumer. No other console, console bans, allows invasion of privacy, and as many false bans as them. PlayStation has little going for it besides the free subscription. Those for PS3 either are very casual gamers who don't care as much, or hackers (or wannabe hackers) who enjoy modding it.

Then again, you will most likely go with what your friends have. Mine was split down the middle and I was tired of PS3's horrible customer service and limitations.
