This topic came to mind as I saw a program on TV, 2 female police officers(UK) pretending to be prostitutes then subsequently arresting the "customers". Surely this is extremely unfair? Opinions, please

Prostitution should not be Illegal but personally I belive paying for sex is wrong anyway, I have numerous friends at college that have used prostitutes in different countries around the world mostly in singapore though, and some of them are proud to have had sex with prostitutes and sometime when you dock in port the officers on the ship you are working on are encouraging you to go and get a hooker, best advice I was ever given was say you've done it already then nobody hassels you to do it, I think it's disgusting though I'd much sooner kill myself than have to live with the guilt of paying for sex if my mother ever found out I had done something like that she'd probally never look at me again and she'd be right to. Lastly though it really is disgusting I hate to think what doing that for a job must be like I feel bad for these women.

That being said, i think it should be legal because its your chose to do it and if you get an STD that's your buisness and NOT the government
