(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); For those that don't know a heart murmur is an abnormal sound within your heart, although there is a big change of it not affecting you, it still needs to be checked out.

well as some of you know i have just joined the Royal Army i went along to my ADSC (2 day physical, medical and interview) and it took me 4 hours to get there by train, i arrived at 11 am and had a great start talking to everyone, me and a few lads discovered we were slightly colour blind but thats no biggy really.

We then changed rooms and the doctor came through cupped my balls and all that :L, she then proceeded to listen to my heart, she stood up and told me i had a heart murmur and i couldn't continue with my application into the army, i now have to travel to hospital on thursday to have my heart looked at.....by train and that trip is nearing 4 hours aswell, so not only were my dreams crushed but i was sent down to the train station and dumped there :( I was ok, I didn't cry because i knew there was a chance i could get this murmur sorted, but it kinda makes you feel like crap to know somethings wrong with the thing thats powering your entire body.

this thread is more of a rant than anything but thankyou for reading through this i'll let you know how i get on
