Firstly sorry that I've been inactive, but I was on vacation and I'm active again on 8th of August.

I copied/edited this article because of contemptible happening that occurred in Norway.

I think this shouldn't get closed because this section's name is: General Discussion and I want that you fellas discuss about this.

That brings us to this article's real topic, the terrorism.

This terrible incident that took place in Norway should arouse everyone to think that not all terrorist are Muslims unlike right wing Islamophobes are claiming.
As you probably know, the terrorist was a far right extremist.

the terrorist threat posed by radicalized Muslim-Americans has been exaggerated.

Regardless, Americans continue to live in fear of radical Islam and that fear has been spread by right wing Islamophobes. If someone follows the cable news networks, it seems that all terrorists are Muslims. It has become obvious in some circles to say: “Not all Muslims are terrorists, but nearly all terrorists are Muslims.”

But this perception is not reality. The data doesn't support that conclusion. On the FBI’s official website, there is a list of all terrorist attacks committed on U.S. soil from the year 1980 to 2005. That list is You must login or register to view this content. Terrorist Attacks on U.S. Soil by Group, From 1980 to 2005, According to FBI Database

According to this data, there were more Jewish acts of terrorism within the United States than Islamic (7% vs 6%). These radical Jews committed acts of terrorism in the name of their religion. These were not terrorists who happened to be Jews; rather, they were extremist Jews who committed acts of terrorism based on their religious passions, just like Al-Qaeda and company.

(Notice the difference in media between the two.) The reason that Muslim apologists cannot recall another non-Islamic act of terrorism other than Waco is because media gives menial coverage to such events. If a terrorist attack does not fit the “Islam is the perennial and existential threat of our times” narrative, it is simply not paid much attention to, which in a circuitous manner reinforces and “proves” the preconceived narrative. It is to such an extent that the average American cannot remember any Jewish or Latino terrorist; why should he when he has never even heard of the Jewish Defense League or the Ejercito Popular Boricua Macheteros?

The Islamophobes claim that Islam is intrinsically a terrorist religion. Just about every terrorist attack is Islamic, they say. And as we know, that isn't true. Using their defunct logic, these right wingers should now conclude that nearly all acts of terrorism are committed by Latinos.
They live in a fantasy world where everyone is supposedly too “politically correct” to criticize Islam and Muslims. Could you imagine the reaction if I said that Latinos should be profiled because after all they are the ones who commit the most terrorism in the country?

The moral of the story is that Americans should calm down when it comes to Islamic terrorism. Right wingers always live in fear or they try to make you feel that way. In fact, Pamela Geller (the queen of internet Islamophobia) literally said her mission was to:

Don’t be fooled, most likely you don’t live in constant fear of radicalized Latinos, even though they commit seven times more acts of terrorism than Muslims in America. Why then are you wetting yourself over Islamic radicals? Nobody is saying that Islamic terrorism is not a matter of concern, but it’s grossly exaggerated.

Tl;dr version:
Latinos make seven times more terrorism attacks as the graphic shows and the fear of Islamic terrorism is greatly exaggerated.

The previous article was about U.S, but now you're wondering; what about Europe?
Well, in Europe it's even more obvious that not all terrorists are Muslims since 99.6% of terrorists weren't Muslims.

Here's some data:

2006

(According to the report, there was 1 “Islamist attack” in the UK in 2008, which was omitted in the table above. It has been included in the bar graph below.)
Just glancing at those tables is enough to know how absurd it is to claim that “all terrorists are Muslims.” That statement is nowhere near the truth. If we compile the data, it comes out to this:

Official Europol report says:

Islamist terrorism is still perceived as being the biggest threat worldwide, despite the fact that the EU only faced one Islamist terrorist attack in 2008. This bomb attack took place in the UK…Separatist terrorism remains the terrorism area which affects the EU most. This includes Basque separatist terrorism in Spain and France, and Corsican terrorism in France…Past contacts between ETA and the FARC illustrate the fact that also separatist terrorist organizations seek cooperation partners outside the EU on the basis of common interests. In the UK, dissident Irish republican groups, principally the RIRA and the CIRA, and other paramilitary groups may continue to engage in crime and violence.

I'm Latin. Latins get a lot of hate. Terrorism is caused by immigrants from Latin countries. Not all Latins are bad, just the newer generation. I'm from Cuba but I was born here and my parents were born here too.

TL; DR -- Not all Latin's are bad.

It is religion that is the issue in my opinion. Imagine a world without religion. No war between palestina and israel. 11-17 million people wouldnt had been killed in WW2 (holocaust).

People need to learn more about human values instead of religious values.

Palestine is as much a battle of imperialism as it is about religion. You can't blame religion for the holocaust either because even if Jews hadn't even existed then Hitler would've targeted another random demographic of people to to seize power.Religion isn't the problem in my opinion, it just seems to overshadow terrorist attacks as proven in the thread
