But more surprisingly that it will be not just be for PC, but both next-gen consoles - the PS3 and Xbox 360 - and even Mac! It will see release soon on the PSN store and Xbox marketplace respectively.

Valve said that the game is due to release next year in 2012. It will feature bumped up graphics - which were a long time coming - new characters, maps and game modes. So it seems value is going head to head against both FPS giants, to try and get "a slice of the cake". No images or trailers have been showed yet of the game.

Whats up with counterstrike? Its epic on pc, easy beats cod, I have been waiting for it on PS3. But I don't know if it will play the same we will have to see
