I've been using FL studio for years...and I paid for mine..so you should pay for yours...if you get caught, they will press charges...I have seen it happen...

I'm just letting you know, that I have personally seen them press charges. Just trying to give fair warning...

I've seen other stuff other than Fruity Lops being used.. Ableton is supposed to be good, Adobe Audition has some features that help you master your sound and Pro Tools help with that as well. the main 2 ae Ableton&Fruity Loops though.. But if you buy it from their site, you get future versions for free. I.E if you bought fl 10 you would get fl 11 for free when it comes out. This is from their site -

"You only buy FL Studio once then all future program updates are FREE for LIFE! This means that you're guaranteed to receive FL Studio 11 and all other future versions absolutely free."

I'm pretty sure this option is a choice. You can choose to get it with the IL money you recieve when you buy the program. Only idiots would not pick free lifetime updates.

FL Studio is great for almost any style.

I know of FL Studio, Reason 5 and some other one i forgot FL Studio is much more common though
