Whenever we get snow you always get the same things -

1. A news reporter in a village you've never heard of pointing out that it has snowed.
2. An AA spokesman announcing that they're being called to more breakdowns than normal.
3. Bland footage of diggers filling up salt lorries accompanied by an announcement that they have blah blah blah tonnes of salt this year.
4. News programmes asking for viewers to send in their pictures.
5. The revelation that bookies have been so blind-sided by the snow that they have immediately slashed the odds on a white Christmas.
6. Half of the nation whining in union: "Ha! And they're trying to convince us that we've got global warming?!"
