(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys,so lately ive been working out alot mostly because i want to get a six pack but the annoying thing is that im stocky and for some reason the abs dont show up but i can feel the muscle when i put my finger on my stomach, i really dont know what im doing wrong if anyone would know how i could get my sixpack to show please quote me Smile

PS. for any1 who doesent know what stocky is its when you are not skinny but your not fat,you look at little bit chubby but your healthy,its really hard to explain so i hope some people know what it is :L

im around 5 ft 11 and i weigh about 12 stone

you need to get rid of the fat in your stomach everyone has ab's its just there stomach fat hides them

I honestly believe its because you're too young man. Least thats what my boxing trainer told me when I was that young n working out. Your bodies using all your energy and shit to help you grow, once your like, 16, 17 if your still at it, the'll show up HARD. Thats is you're still doing it, regularly, and eating alot. You need fat to turn into muscle.

i was thinking that aswell but like my friends are the same age as me nd they look ripped but there not strong,like im the strongest out of us nd im the least ripped looking.but i do think im going to calm down on the work outs for a good while because i dont want my growth or anything stunted.thanks for the help Winky Winky

You shouldn't give out uneducated answers if you yourself, are unsure.
Your body does not "use" all the energy to help you grow,it merely uses the energy from the food consumed to keep your body operational.
Depending on your age,daily activities requires different calorie intake.
Abs don't just show up at 16 or 17.
Abs(abdominals) will only show if you have a low body fat percentage.
Eating a lot will adversely reduce your abs from showing as excess calories consumed will lead to more fat being stored in your body.
You don't need fat to turn into muscle,moreover,you need to lose the fat that is covering your abs therfore showing the muscles.
