Post: Video Game Tester

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I really want a career in gaming because well I love playing video games and I love the fact that people are gifted enough to make video games. Does anyone know any really good sites to look into becoming a tester? I want a career in gaming, but I don't want to go to college for 4 years to prove that i'm good at playing video games and giving feedback on what needs approving. I don't even need to get paid to test them, I just want the opportunity to move up into the industry. Yes I will go to college i'm sure for some sort of degree is computer technology, but theres other ways which is why i'm asking. Thanks!

Problem rule #16?
You really want a career in playing mostly bad games just to find every glitch?

My brother hacked my account and said this because he thinks I play to many games. No I don't want a career in gaming, it would be kinda cool, but no lol. How do you delete a thread?

First of all you can't go to college for video game testing. Video game testers also don't make a whole lot of money. If you are interested in a career in video/gfx take some electronic engineering and gfx courses at your school. Then you can go to college for visual engineering or video design and start making your own games to make an ACTUAL living.
I was watching on CNN, they make an average 25k or something like that.

If you look up on game devellopers websites (eg: Ubisoft), you'll find out most of them give job opportunities for game testing, but those are only few-months contracts. It could get you to become known there and maybe help you a lot if you wish to make your career with them

With that grammar, I don't think you'll be receiving a ticket.
