(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It would appear that CERN has found a major bombshell. Hidden within a couple years worth of data.
Sub-atomic particles have been found to be traveling faster then light particles.
Strange particles which did the feat was from a group called neutrinos.

What does this mean........wellll Einstein was wrong. Along with a couple other theories which use it numbers.
If this is true then science is put into a right pickle.

Best news time travel IS possible and it was found by accident.
Found it interesting so posted it. What do people think could it be possible ?
In this day and age stuff like this is checked before released so could be true.

I understand. Started the 1900s with horses, ended the 1900s with near hypersonic speeds in manned aircraft, 230mph automobiles, men having traveled to the moon, just to name a few.

Also read the post i added to the other post(the one you i said about the 1000x thing) and try to answer that question for me.

Also im curious how that would cause time travel? Because i thought with our current understanding of wormhole's its just the bending of space between two points. So wouldn't that just cause instant travel over large distances but not through time?

A wormhole is basically two linked blackholes. Between them, is a tear in the fabric of space-time. Something like you go through a door today, and when you reach the other side, it's 2,000 B.C.

There's a range of theories. Something like this could be true, who knows.

"Perhaps all of space and time exist at once and our travels through time are simply something that our conscious minds undertake, if we could break this force that is propelling us forward, maybe we could travel back in time."

For time travel to the past to work you would need to bypass the speed of light Winky Winky
If the laws of nature allow you to do that you can do it.
As for how wormholes work.......don't know but i believe the theory goes it would allow you to go faster then all things local to you. E.g. travel faster.

Anywho still got long way to go before it true and on the books are right this.

Chronos, The God Of Time
Space - time is relative, well thats what Einstein said. So the faster you go, the "faster" time goes compared to someone with a low speed. So bending two parts in space makes you have a speed much greater than the speed of light, in this case that is possible because you are bending space and not time. Time is a constant but space isn't. And that is how time travel is theoretically possible, in a nutshell.

Daddy's home.
Ok I know how to time Travel.

I need:
A de Lorian
A flux Capacitor
A dog
Plutonium
And to reach speeds of 88mph.

OT, I like how people in the comments, both here and the source, try to contradict what the scientists did. It says they did this over 3 years, with 15 000 neutrinos. They don't just get the first one that get's there before light and claim that they have cracked it. Almost all of the 15 000 would have had to have done it for them to conclude this.

True it is looking likely that this will prove to be true.
But Scientists have said this times before so...
