Hey NGU-bros,
I bet most of you, when not lurking on NGU, are working a pretty decent job.
While working in a restaurant, I've seen some things that I wouldn't want the customers to know.
I work as a chef, and we don't really care a lot about hygiene. Most kitchens don't. If something falls on the ground, we mostly don't throw it out but just use it.
Or when making fruit-sauces/jams, we always use rotten fruit. It really doesnt matter, it doesnt make you sick or anything but its pretty disgusting if you think about it:dumb:.
So guys, what are your work secrets?

I worked at TJmaxxx for a while and of course a pretty known fact that whatever is on sale is always damaged, or missing things I remember when I used to open the boxes that bring in the product and I would notice cracks or a missing piece that goes with it they would always tell me to slap a SALE ticket on it

Worst time was when the company I used to work for (A flooring company) were asked to re-fit a whole new floor in the kitchen area in a Takeaway. The Things we found under the counters were horrible!
> Rat Droppings
> Old Sausages
> Bacon, etc
The owner told us to pile all the coins that had dropped under there ontop of the counter. They was over £50 and didn't give one penny away to his staff or us. The bacon that we had cleared up was also put on the counter then used to make a breakfast toastie. I felt like saying something but, it would of risked the job we were at from getting paid.

If that was the case you should have got onto your local council. They would have been straight round there. That shit is sick as ****.

Work on a ship and the amount of Oily rags and things that got throw overboard was quite surprising considering your not suppose to throw anything overboard especially anything with oil on it a ship that drops a few extra parts per million of oil can be fined and detained but what the MCA don't know can't hurt them.....right it just hurts innocent sea creatures instead. Also the officers on the ships couldn't give to ****s about passengers after working on a cruise ferry for a while we always use to have a good laugh standing one the bridge taking the piss out of the people coming on the ship we'd just watch the security cameras for ages insulting and saying which ones we'd ****.
