Well. This whole government involvement in the MLB is just BS.I think in the off-season, they should release everyones name, so it does not affect the season in anyway.

Onto David, I think everyone took something that is illegal now, but was legal then, or something like that. But pretty much, everyone is taking drugs.

I agree 100 percent. It is ridiculous that they do that to players though and release names in the middle of the season. It can tear a clubhouse apart. But I agree, everyone has took something illegal sometime or another.

Yes to both of you. :P. But umm.. I'm actually still confused on what the Mitchell report is, and the gov. is doing, and what MLB has to say about it.

I'm hearing a lot of people say what he took was legal so if it was legal then, why get punished for it now?

I HATE this for so many reasons. First off, the list is supposed to be ANONYMOUS (meaning it was NOT supposed to be attached with names) so the sharing of these names is ILLEGAL. Second,Since this source isn't revealing themselves since they would be in a HUGE amount of trouble for revealing those names illegally, you can't even verify if these tests really said they were positive. Third, There are such things as false-positives where they test positive, but actually did not take it, but they aren't even bothering to admit that. Fourth, how much of an asshole do you have to be to take an anonymous test and turn it into this huge public thing where you reveal 2 players every couple MONTHS and its a list with 107 names. I mean, Come On. If I was a baseball player I wouldn't mind finding that guy and kicking his ass. And if any MLB players are on here, all you have to do is know they have a connection with the New York Times, so all you have to do is go up there and threaten the Main Editor or bribe him, pretty much whatever you want to get you to give him the guys name and then have a fun little "run in" with the little snitch bitch.
