Discuss.

Nono, it's a real life just as much as you or I. It's born the same way as you Smile Cloning isn't what most of the posts in this thread are implying. Clones are people too, exactly like you, nothing special will happen to them that wouldn't happen to a regular person and theres no increased chance of negative side-effects or anything like that. The only down-side i can think of and this might just be completely untrue but possibly if you are a carrier of a disease perhaps your clone will receive this disease. However, the same would happen for your children, with equal chance of contraction Winky Winky

It's still capable of feeling pain, empathy and sympathy, joy, depression just like the rest of us. It would be a human being just like you and me however we would have just played about with the DNA it was born with.

Well your first idea is completely unethical, and your second point is equally ridiculous. I suppose you believe we also shouldn't cut our hair, wear clothes, sit at desks on chairs or use computers either because that's not how your God intended it? And that's making the leap of an assumption there even is a God. Blimey...

If God exists you're screwed. Just think about that one. stare

It's been awhile.
It could be a serious buisness for women, cloning themselves so that the clone would have sex with people for money.

This is off-topic buuuuuuut you brought it up so...
Let's say i believe in god, I am part of the religion christianity # 5432443421387663464423751526442364678654634278362738754535763567857463542543246785423564354545764236453. If this arbitrary view of god is NOT the actual god, I am also screwed. It's just that atheists are screwed just the tiniest bit more if at all. Also, I think if god existed, he would be a bit more pissed off by you believing the wrong god rather than none at all :/
