(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); the NDAA (national defense authorization act) has now been passed by Obama, what this allows him to do is:
anyone i mean ANYONE suspected of being a terrorist will be taken without a fair trial and the Bill of Rights technically has no call in this action.
With this, anyone suspected of being related to anykind of terrorism will be jailed until further notice
So in this case: a middle eastern man with a turban, an asian with a dented face, etc.

So what do you think?
Now, not only does America get to spy in our life as they wish, they get to jail us for no reason.

At this stage everyone is guaranteed a fair trial. Unless they repeal a few amendments, they can't do anything about it either. And repealing an amendment takes a 2/3 majority, which I can almost guarantee will never happen.

Also, that article is from Fox :dumb: They are notorious for exaggerating things way out of proportion.

In times of war, the government can abridge the Constitution to ensure the protection of the people. The rights of 1 are nominal compared to the rights of all.

Lol and yeah, f*** Fox.

U wont @ me doe
I think its the right thing to do to protect the nation as a whole. Like Solo said, " The rights of 1 are nominal compared to the rights of all." If they do jail someone who is suspected, but is really innocent, they will get out in no time once things are sorted anyways.

Won't really affect me. I don't go around saying "I haz a bomb!"

Lul, I don't really care. The only people that will be affected by this are the smartasses that "bend" the rules and don't say they're breaking them.

It's ok not as bad as the immigration laws in Alabama, if that think that you might be a illegal alien then they can ask for your papers on the spot, and if you don't have them you can go to jail, I'm not hispanic so it doesn't really affect me but it's still complete bull shit. They can pull you over, search your car, ask for your papers, really anything they want to do. :n:

I like what you said at first but when you started to pick out the races/ethnicity's that I don't really like because they won't be just picking those groups out, it is set for anyone and it is unlikely they will be just go and grab someone just to grab because that would be racial profiling which is against the law and is protected under federal law, if they would have suspicion, and by suspicion some sort of evidence or reasoning for such, "such as a person who has suddenly taken a lot of interest in bomb making and has placed orders for bomb making material" that would be what they would call suspicion or suspicious activities.

If you would take a class or two you would learn and understand a bit more of what is actually being said.

(Also, just to add.. if they were to, let's say, go and grab a whole bunch of people of the same race without any real reasoning they would open doors to a lawsuit. Not just one but many, many, many lawsuits.)

America really is good at quietly repressing people's rights at the moment. NDAA, SOPA, what's next?
