Post: Just for fun: What you do for a living.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This thread is for what you do for a living and where you want to end up.

For example I'm 16 and just got my first job back in October as a Lifeguard at a local swimming pool. It's a good job good laugh but when something goes wrong it can be quite stressful.
I don't want to be there forever. When i finish with school i want to do a few years in the armed forces. Then I'm unsure from there on.

However i can't aspire to be something big like everyone else my age, like a lawyer, doctor, surgeon ect... as i am like the least academic person ever, if i lose interest in something i tend to give up quickly. School really hasn't worked for me so far i done okay in 4th year (Year 11 in England or 10th grade in America i think) none of the subjects really interest me, except PE. The annoying thing about it is I have the ability but I don't want to do it.

There's a little insight on what i do now and what i want to do, your shot Smile

The place I work at does? Of course, I have some restrictions, like I can't work for then 16 hours a week, or work past 7pm. I wouldn't be surprised if they lowered the age minimum to 12, its a fairly simple job. Its not like I'm taking charge in the business. They simple have me go outside get carriages, or stay inside and bag.

I'm asking like what chain hires them? Because I'm 14 and I'm looking for a job.

It's a New England based company, but it's called Market Basket.

You sure a career in the Armed forces is the right thing for you. Giving up could be fatal to your colleagues, providing you don't give up during training, of course.
Might want to think about that and make sure that's actually what you want, not just because you've played too much Call of Duty or whatever. It's hard work and no slacking.

Why's it call FOOTball if they use their hands instead of their feet. Are you guys retarded and don't know the difference, or just couldn't think of a better name and steal the Brits'?

I come from a family who have had a lot to do with the armed forces so it's nothing to do with call of duty. haha. Most of the men in my family have served at least 5 years in the forces Smile
