hahahahahah hahahah i dont have to do that, no im kidding but yeah u shouldnt have to suck them in to see abs more just flex to make them looked ripped, in your situation i would say you dont have abs that pop yet, get on a diet.
before 1pm Protein, carbs
After 1pm Protien, vegetables
Thats the basic diet to stay healthy and do crunches, leg lifts, mountain climbers and in about a month they would have set it if you follow that plan daily. good luck
