Hello. My name is Tumnus A Faun, and you've just been spammed.

Now, unlike your usual spammer - who wants money from you - I want to tell you that because you, or someone you know, posted this email address ([email protected] ) on Twitter, it's now freely available to spammers!

All I did was use a freely available email harvesting script to extract this email address from Twitter.com.

Now, here comes the catch: because we're both Tweeters (Twitterers?), in exchange for highlighting the fact that this email address is now so easily available to unscrupulous spammers, I would like you to click a link on my Twitter page:

It's one of those pay-per-click revenue raising capers where I get a few cents for every click generated...it costs you nothing more than a second or two of your time.

Is that cheating? Yes, of course it is, but in these tough economic times you've got to get ahead any way you can...and hey, if you happen to like what you see and end up purchasing something, well...so much the better.

Now, becsause you're presumably a fellow Tweeter, if you'd like me to return the favour and click a link or two for you, just tweet the following:

So that's it. I'll not take up any more of your valuable time, except to apologise for spamming you and to offer you this little piece of advice: be very careful where you post your email address online. Spammers are everywhere and many are not as nice as me )

That guy is just a sad little douche who has nothing better to do with his time then find e-mails and send them links that he gets 2 cents per click.
