I dont work in the gym but I go every other day and have spoken to personal trainers about this.

If you have no fat then doing a load of sit ups a day will help, but not a lot.

If you do have some fat, you gotta do a lot of cardio to get rid of that, then you are on your way.

I have 3 tips for you:

  • Exercise a bit more
  • Eat a bit less
  • Drink lots of water!
  • Sleep!

but besides the healthy lifestyle, when it comes to the gym, do around 100 sit ups a day, those small numbers really won't make a huge difference, but you really got to start eating healthy!

Good luck Winky Winky

I eat junk stuff a lot and do abs mon-fri and still have a gut. You do need to cut down.

eating healthy makes a huge difference trust me. cut out junk food, and you'll look and feel better.

Cardio and eating healthier is a big one. Also, doing 10-20 sit ups a day doesn't do much. Try doing a variety of ab workouts. Obliques, Roman Twists, etc..

Here's my daily routine (but I've been doing this for awhile):

Firstly, I wake up normally, eat some fruits or some healthy cereal for breakfast, and drink as much water as I can.
Then, I just go on with my day, go to school, come home, etc.
Afterwards, I listen to my iPod and go outside/run on the treadmill for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes.
Then I come home, drink more water. And do as many sit ups/crunches as I possibly can.
Afterwards, I drink a protein shake (if you buy some, read instructions on how much you can take).
Then I have a healthy dinner WITH WATER, and goto sleep.

But I'd drink a protein shake every two or so days, I've thrown up before from drinking too much, haha.

I can tell you this much if you eat healthy and exercise you can get cut. When I was 16 I got my six pack pretty much doing different variations of crunches, so it can be done.
