Daddy's home.
First things first. This guy is white. Clearly white. So why's he trying to talk black for?

Second thing. He might have been able to pull off being a "gangster" if he didn't have what looks like action figures in the background. Collecting shit is cool, but when you're trying to talk black with shit like that in the back looks kinda silly.

Third. I agree with him. We don't even have to go far back to SNES, we can just go to PS2. The games worked. They had good games, single player games that lasted for days if not weeks. Now you can complete many games in 1 sitting if you have a spare 6-8 hours, if that.

Gaming is going downhill more than uphill. He has a point about everything online. What if you're at a mates and want to play a shooting game together. How many have co-op on the same screen now a days? Few. It's stupid. Games are broken, but because of on line they can fix them, but it takes months. We shouldn't have to wait, we should have a completed game when we buy it like we used to. There were minimal glitches/bugs in the old games because they had to be checked thoroughly, now it's like they get skimmed over and released because the players are the testers and report stuff to be fixed.

Sometimes I want to play a good single player shooting game that will take me ages to complete, yet I can't because there isn't any. Single player is like the last thing they think of and just seem to throw it in half the time and focus on MP. Medal of Honor on the PS1 was a good shooting game. Can't remember how long it was but I don't think it was short. There were so many long games to play, but since MW3 has dominated the market all the companies are trying to compete with that game. I'd prefer a game with a 60+hour campaign than a game with mega awesome graphics but a campaign of 6 hours.

We shouldn't have to pay extra for clothes, characters and maps and so on. We should be able to unlock them through hard work rather than spending more money on the game that's broken.

This guy is right about everything he says. However, no one is going to stop buying games. If CoD wasn't around, things might be different, but when everyone plays it, things won't change for a very, very long time. Even the new consoles will more than likely have CoD that will dominate them, making for more shit games that are trying to compete with it.

When my Live ran out I didn't update it. I only bought it again the other day after about 2-3 weeks of not playing because Xbox had a 2 month for £2 offer going. I won't pay for 12 month until there is a game I want, that is different and that works.

umm I have a lot of friends that are exactly like him and yea some of them don't have their collectible shit but some of them do and it's the normal thing they have been collecting a certain thing since they're kids and it holds a semi sentimantal value to to them like this friend of mine this fucker He's a ladies man he always get inside girls pants but you go inside his room and he has a like a good two rows off dragon ball z figures in his book case, So long story short having collectibles off some sort doesn't take cred away from you (even though yes he's trying to act gangster)

I agree with all his points, but the people to blame is ourselves. We are the dumb idiots who bitch and complain and then buy it. They are only doing it because we are letting them do it. I will only buy DLC and extras that are actually worth the value like Dragon Age expansions.

This just saved me time and effort. i agree with everything he says. especially with games that can be completed in one sitting, you cant get a single player game anymore that i can actually enjoy :(

I hate the fact that gaming has gone through the commercial route, with DLC, on disc locked content, Xbox live memberships...

And games of this generation in general arent that memorable with a few exceptions

Hell you hit it on the head there. Was going to do my own comment, but you summed it up rather well.

In my opinion yes, but can you truly say that?

Gaming has changed drastically and grown into an incredibly profitable industry. It's not the small geeky one it used to be. Luckily, there are still several companies dedicated to producing games for the generation prior to the Wii,PS3,Xbox360

Everything I could ever say is right there in your comment.

Another thing, COD Elite, I refuse to buy it. I have friends who have bought it and I ask them why. They say they want the new maps but if they would use their brains, they would realize that by the time the last map is released a new Call of Duty will most likely be released or about to be released within a month or two. What that then means is that all of the maps you just paid for will be pushed aside and you will most likely buy the new game and play its new maps.

Honestly, I'd prefer it if they had map achievements. Have 5 set maps that require a certain prestige to play. Say you unlock the new maps at 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10. You could then have a section with sub sections in the game selection saying "Prestige Lobbies - Prestige 2 Required". At Prestige 2, it changes to "Prestige Lobbies" so you can click it providing another window asking "Prestige 2, Prestige 4, Prestige 6, Prestige 8, Prestige 10.

Prestige 2 contains all maps + 1st unlocked map. Prestige 4 contains all maps + 1st and 2nd unlocked map, so on and so on.

Maybe if they instead did "Custom Character Look" and put up in the market different characters for .99$, that would be acceptable.
