It is getting worse and worse. Especially for some games if you buy used you have to pay extra for online play...

Even on my Amiga 500 Times the Games had been copied.
And even in this Times the Game Developers earned a lot of bucks.

Today, we have to pay for content, that would have been in the game in the past days.

We are buying "light versions" of the game, that will be "upgraded" to the full content by DLCs. Lots of additional Money can be earned.
The Quality or the Playtime of the Games sometimes sucks.

Absoloute bullshit. You get all fucking 40 characters at the start of Tekken 6 and it's easy to navigate to single playing. This guy speaks utter bullshit.

No way there are more games out there you just gotta find them. Call of dutys are awesome.

some of gaming has gone downhill, but, there are still a few awesome titles out there. there just happens to be many more choices now so the pool is diluted. there are only a handful of games that stick out to me from ps1 and ps2 days... and even further back, from nintendo and earlier days. it all depends on what grabs you. some of the single player playthroughs are a bit short now, for sure with devs focusing on this massive multiplayer market that exploded, but, in time, it should find a happy medium and maybe games and their plot lines will get to shine a bit more..
