It was fine and only a little sore, i guess that was just because I just got it done. I have cleaned it 4 times every day with salt and warm water and rinsing the inside and outside of my lip. However last night at a nightclub it got a knock, today I woke up and it was very very sore and my lip was noticeably swollen. I cleaned it again with salt water and the swelling has gone down a little and no more pain. I can see that the back of the piercing is going into my actual lip, and there is a little whiteness around it, only a little bit. I'm quite concerned and hopefully one of you guys could hopefully give me some advise.

I had my lip pierced for a few years and when I first had it done it was doing the exact same thing. Just continue cleaning it and it'll heal over time. Just make sure if it's a stud lipring your lip doesn't start healing around it. That can cause trouble.
