(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If there was a draft and you had to choose and join a US Armed Force branch, which one would you choose?

A description of each one:

The United States Army is the branch of the United States armed forces responsible for land-based military operations.
The United States Navy is the sea branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The United States Marine Corps is a branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for providing force projection from the sea, using the mobility of the United States Navy to rapidly deliver combined-arms task forces.
The United States Air Force is the aerial warfare branch of the U.S. armed forces and one of the American uniformed services.
The United States Coast Guard has a maritime law enforcement mission (with jurisdiction both domestically and in international waters) and a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its mission set.

Anything as long as I don't have to be in the British Army. The worst army in the world even worse than the Americans who shoot our troops by accident. Have you seen how many British troops die each day, I swear their not coordinated or trained and are just deployed right in the hq of al-quaida and run round panicking and crying whilst being shot at. Al-quaida ftw, where do I sign up?

The British Soldiers aren't that bad, they're just doing their job.
They're just following orders they were told to do so you can't really blame them.
Most of them are sent out straight away after 2-3 years of training to fill up the spots anyway.

(That's what I heard)

Wait...did you just say, the British army is the worst in the world? You really need to do some research my friend. The only reason that more and more troops are dieing is because the government won't pay for the equipment the troops desperately need to fight. They ask for better vehicles but the government won't pay for them. They ask for the things they need, but the government is so ****ed up they don't even support their own campaign. They start war, but don't pay for war. Another reason is the Taliban are increasing their attacks. RPG's, bad enough, RPG's with nails in them even worse. Now they are trying to get their hands on SAM rockets, meaning they will be able to take down the helicopters. They are also increasing the use if IED's. They place them in irrigation ditches because as soon as they start to fire at troops, the first place they will go to is a ditch.

I think for the regular army it is 32 weeks of training, then some are sent out a week after that. However, they still train after they have passed (obviously) and they don't stop training.

On topic, I would go in the British army. If not that then the RAF.

I just wonder how many people chose Marines because of a certain game .......You know someone will have....it's true.

Stay on topic!!

If you are anywhere but the US choose a branch you would join if you were forced into the US and drafted

Let me get this straight, first you say the British army isn't the worst in the world and then you explain why it IS the worst in the world.

hmm

I thought the same thing but after reading the book I told you about, you find some very shocking and surprising truths about Blackwater. Tbh their missions arent too great. They generally provide security for people, like Paul Bremer. Four blackwater personell were killed transporting silverware to a hotel. And they went through the middle of Fallujiah(when the Marines invaded) with unarmored cars, with only a two man team in each vehicle.

If I couldn't join the Corps I would join the Navy. I wouldnt become an SAR/aircrew, and try out for BUD/S later.
