Basically, this kid is going to jail for 50 years for beating the shit out of a girl with a steel toe boot. In my honest opinion, if I was him, I would've killed the bitch. She was texting him nasty things about his dead brother prior to this. Keep in mind, the defendant was undergoing extreme depression and life issues due to him finding his brother 5 months prior hanging on a tree.
And then this bitch comes in and starts talking shit about him? Fuck that. Shit don't fly. She got what she deserved and he goes to jail for it.
That's my rant on the situation, but the fact of the matter is the he should be found not guilty under the reason of insanity. Think about it: depressed as fuck for 5 months. His life sucked. And then this bitch came along and set him over the top. Under medical terms, he was insane. With that, he shouldn't be going to jail for 50 years, whereas he should just be baker-acted.
What do you guys think? Like I was trying to imply, he shouldn't face any jail time.. at all.

Also, the kid should definitely not get 50 years, in fact that is insane and possibly illegal... I remember reading that it is against the law for courts to issue extreme time lengths to minors like this.

Women and equality? I can scoff at that notion. Women seek supremacy and favor partiality, both of which are a far cry away from equality and just law. But then again, what is just law? Obviously what is considered socially and morally correct and customary.Women take their human rights for granted; society has been indoctrinated with the image that women are typically innocent, defenseless, and are to remain untouched by violent intent. Disgusting. Of course rationality applies in most cases, but if a woman strikes me with murderous intent, I will have no remorse or sense of indignity when striking back. My hands abide by the law of equivalent exchange, not by the empty teachings of vague morality. It's despicable how humans cling to equivocal things such as correctness, justice, and morality. This applies to the court case referred to in the OP as well.
