Anyway it's terrible what happened. i feel bad for the guy. The dog was only defending his owner.

I really had to fight the urge to say anything bad.. It's very sad that this poor dogs life had to be taken. But pitbulls are the number one breed for bites and attacks. But it is because of horrible owners that they earn that reputation.

Living as close as I do to Flint and Detroit, the number of hoodrats and gangbangers that have own these dogs is ridiculous! They are good dogs if trained properly. But they are not going to.. So eventually they get rid of the dog or it gets loose and shit happens. That is why I feel uneasy about pitbulls. Note: I don't hate pitbulls, I just feel that people who own them should have to prove how well trained the dog is. (Too many bad experiences with this breed).

What concerned me at first is why wasn't the dog on a leash or something? But I believe the guy passed out is the owner, So I understand that. My major concern is why didn't they taser the dog? Two cops... One should have his gun drawn the other a taser... The dog is doing what any good dog should do, protecting its owner.

The cops should have set up a better barrier (police tape). I also feel that the woman (the one the dog nipped at) should be fined for failure to obey a police officer.

TLR - Dog was doing its job, cops are doing their job but should have used a taser and secured the area better. Dumb people who can't listen should be punished.

Damn. Can't believe that they just did that to that dog.

Oh and what are you talking about... I didn't click this link thinking that Pitbull (the singer) got shot...

Im sorry but those people were over reacting. What do you expect the police officer to do when a FUCKING pit bull that WILL fight and kill that officer if they did not shoot? If they didnt shoot it it would have attacked and injured the officer and then probably would have started to attack the crowd. Granted they probably should have had a taser and it would have been better to taser it.

Poor dog though, they could have had animal control in to help them out. Maybe they couldn't get there in time.

IMO, that wasn't well thought out by the cops.

Some people value animal's life as well...

Dog only attacked because it was provoked with mace and they wouldn't stop getting close. But yeah could have been handled so much better. I heard the dog got shot in the head.... Better live

I went to this thread the see the singer "Pitbull" but it was a dog.The dog was doing what it was trained to do,Which was to PROTECT All my dogs go crazy when someone walks in.
