Much agreed MLB.
Another thing I have noticed from the time that I have been here, is that a lot of users that are in Elite or Premium "act" like they are above the registerd users. Premiums think they are over Registerd and Elite thinks they are over Premium and Registerd users. Now, don't get me wrong, but yes Elite and Premium have more dedication to the site and have actually donated REAL money to NGU from their own pockets, but the NGU Staff can take that Elite/Premium Membership away from you as fast as they gave it to you.
I am not trying to give a speach or preach to you guys, but thus I am simply speaking the truth, and sometimes, the truth does indeed hurt. There are a lot of people that act like they are over registerd users just because their user name is a bit different and have a fancy color.
Also, I think we should all start posting more in the Introductions section. That section is there NOT just for new members to tell you a bit about themselves and why they came here, but it's for US to welcome them to NGU and make them feel welcome. If you go in there right now, you will find that most of those threads has had 1 or two members reply to them and say "hello welcome to NGU"
NGU didn't use to be like this. When I first came here over a year ago, there was a LOT of people that would reply to Introductions. Out of the thousands of members that visit this site every day, you would think that it wouldn't hurt for you to simply welcome new comers. If I probably posted an Introduction today and only got 1-2 replies out of it. I would probably leave and think I wasn't welcome here. We welcome anyone. NGU does NOT discriminate, and some times, I think some of us have the interption of that to be honest.
Again, I am not trying to lecture you all or preach to you, because I really don't have the authority to do so, but I am just voicing my opinions on some of the new users. I mean come on guys, give them a break. Some of them have NEVER been on a forum before and have no idea what they are doing. Don't insult them when they ask you for help. Help them, or point them into the right direction if you don't know the answer for someone who can help them, such as the NGU Staff.
In conclusion, I just think some of us needs to realize what being a community is all about and we just need to work on our friendships and stop with the trolling. Sure it's funny the first fifty thousand times, but it gets old guys.
