You don't need any education to become a cop. You just need to pass a test asking you which side of the law you're on.
This isn't news to me, but it got me thinking. Maybe if there were higher requirements for becoming a police officer there would be less abuse and misuse of power and authority.

Fick die Polizei.

The Low Key OG
still the same OG, but I've been low key
Don't believe everything you read. There's tons of police training involved and many require degrees in criminal justice.

I'm aware of the training that's involved, but I wouldn't say there is "tons." It just seems much too easy to become a member of law enforcement. I've taken a few criminal justice courses and interviewed police officers, and they all said how easy it was to become a cop. One of them even said that's the only reason he became one in the first place. I just think more care should be taken when recruiting law enforcement officers.

Thank you. I was just trying to remember how long it takes. 45 days is nothing. Think how long it takes to become a doctor.

I want to be a Police Officer, but what I want to do is go to college for Criminal Justice other than just joining the Police Force when I'm 21 with my high school diploma and Police Academy certificate, I want to be a great cop and have the most knowledge out of all the other officers here. The best of luck to you. If you do that you'll have a better chance of working your way up the ladder. I would just ask one thing of you. Don't pick on the homeless.

I use to be a cop mate! From 21-25 and it was the easiest job ever. Hey MLB I have BA in Criminal Justice, but I really wanted to do homicide.

Thanks man Winky Winky, & I would never pick on the homeless, I'd help them if anything, I usually donate money to them, I once donated to a local homeless man $40 and a trip to McDonald's all on me, he had frost bite on his face, lost one of his fingers, his dog was so skinny so I bought the both them food, and he bought his dog a blanket, himself a coat and gloves a stocking cap and told me "God bless you, he really will" and I've never seen him since, but I'll never forget him.
