Post: Time Travel. Realistic? Yes or no
10-18-2012, 04:12 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have always assumed that time travel would one day be possible, but not in my lifetime, or even my kids lifetime. But I came upon an actual video that a guy has actually created one(a time machine), just not like TV and movies portray them to look.

I can't help but think that this has to be somewhat realistic. And it got me thinking to what people would be able to do with this, whether bad or good.

So do you think time travel is realistic? Or if not now with today's technology, but in the near future?

BTW, HackForums couldn't take this seriously worth a shit...at least watch the video and see what I'm talking about.

Anything in this universe is possible. I believe the technology exist just not and wont be available to the masses. Ppl like Stewart Swerdlow who was involved with the Montauk Project talk about time travel and how it work. His info is worth looking up

I am error
I'm half and half for this. Although I voted no because it would cause lots of problems so I don't want it to be true although if it was used correctly it could be cool but in the wrong hands lethal.

A good point was brought up however, if it was possible wouldn't we have already seen people from the future in the present? Not sure what I believe. I agree that even if it is possible it won't happen any time soon.

think of this reality as a line

--------------

that is us, our line has not yet had a time machine invented like what you're talking about

-----------\___________

this new line has, meaning ours in no longer in existence. You wouldnt of even thought about that, what im trying to say is once one like that is invented and if people do come back from the far future, we wont be wondering, but until then our line is un changed and will remain how it is

What you're saying is that there are multiple realities... You would have to believe in that sort of thing and I don't believe that.

I think it might be possible to travel in to the past but not the future. I don't think that would be possible.

the paradox arose about time travelling in the past is extremely juicy...

if time travel in the past would be possible, people coming from future should be able to come here among us...
unless the time-travelers reason link BTTF's Doc: they must avoid time paradoxs thus they remain in incognito...
