I have always assumed that time travel would one day be possible, but not in my lifetime, or even my kids lifetime. But I came upon an actual video that a guy has actually created one(a time machine), just not like TV and movies portray them to look.
I can't help but think that this has to be somewhat realistic. And it got me thinking to what people would be able to do with this, whether bad or good.
So do you think time travel is realistic? Or if not now with today's technology, but in the near future?
BTW, HackForums couldn't take this seriously worth a shit...at least watch the video and see what I'm talking about.

Very good documentary, will have to re-watch it when im not so tired, in some degree time travel may be possible in the future, will it be used? probably not, as the dangers it may occur, as "Sexy Solo" mentioned with his physics professors example, it is potentially possible to manipulate/bend/ travel into the future but, i believe it will never be possible to travel back in time or to a previous event, like you see in movies or whatever. Why? because of the paradoxes that will follow, the most simple one is the "Grandfather Paradox" the grandfather paradox explains that if you went back in time and killed your grandfather, you father would not have been born, therefore you would not have been born, therefore you could not have travelled back in time in the first place, which creates an endless loop or and so on to other problems, thats why the slightest change in the past could alter the future so dramatically which would change the future events and you still would not have travelled back in time because history has changed.
But if it is at all possible and there is multiple time lines and not the one single time line or alternate reality, then who knows maybe it is possible.

It's been proven in the small scale.
Very well thought-out theory, hope one day its possible to test.
It is possible. Well I don't know but I think it is. Maybe once we find worm holes we can kick things off with the machines? Albert Einstein himself said it is possible and his brain was 70% bigger than an average persons (or was is 30%...)
I doubt I'll wake up one day and find that time machines have been invented. Maybe in 1000 years (or more). I highly doubt I'll get to see the Titanic sink in my life time.
