If you can open the software that records HDPVR footage than you need to choose PS3 even if you are using xbox its becayse sony vegas doestn lik MP4 files

if it wont let you edit a video in sony vegas would it not be an issue with sony vegas or the video is corrupt you need to post some more info if you want a reply to this cause its not the whole thing. have you tried running the file in wmp ? have you tried another program or another video in vegas pro. tried converting the video you recorded ? if not why come here first

i had same problem m8 try instaling this ...

Make sure u have the 1 on the disc installed b4 u install this and ur pvr is pluged into ur pc when installing this to hope it helps

Try downloading the outdated m2ts driver, that's what I had to do. It conflicts with SV

Depends what you mean by wont let you edit? You need to explain more.
What part of it won't work?

The hauppauge support website is down because of hurricane sandy and i need that new hd pvr driver 1.7.1.30059 badly can somebody email me that or i can download it from somewhere else thanks alot need it asap

Alright, I've tried it. And what pisses me off is that with the original dirivers on the CD that came with the hd pvr works sometimes and then corrupts in SV others.

Well with the original drivers from the installation disc sometimes the video files don't crash Sony Vegas, and other times they do. Also sometimes only certain parts of the video corrupt when I'm editing. So it really pisses me off. I've tried all different drivers without any luck.

When you put the video in Sony Vegas does it go green at some bits of te timeline?
