The Aventador, sweet jesus I would kill someone to be able to sit in one much less drive one. That car is redicilous, but yeah I would say you should definitely replace your SUV and I think if you get a nice new one you would drive it more. Although I would steer away from a Range Rover, there nice and all but I have known many people that own them and they are a bitch to maintain worse that old Jaguars they break down like a son of bitch man this is wh8iat I would look at:
Mercedes Benz G Wagon AMG

Good thing the wife is happy for now but if you do look at a car for her whether it's to surprise her or if she wants one, I'd look at these:
Mercedes Benz CLS63 AMGYou must login or register to view this content.
BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe sweet ass car a few of them at my school every morning my grandfather owned one but decided to trade it for a 2007 MB CLS You must login or register to view this content.
Audi S8, pretty damn nice car.You must login or register to view this content.
Yeah it's a lot of work because junior partners are basically the partners' bitch. I'm away from the house for 12 hours a day, 5 days a week now and constantly doing extra work and emailing on the weekends. When I'm a partner I'll have it made, but that's in 1-2 years if I'm lucky. I'm inclined to say they have less work, too.
I think the next-gen RRs are more reliable than the mid-2000s ones but we'll see what CR has to say. It's not my only option though. I'd also consider the next Escalade, Cayenne Turbo, or the X5 M. G Wagon isn't my cup of tea. It looks cool and is fast but it is like driving a bus. I want a truck that's way more fun than my Ford. Need a truck for the snow but if we choose to have a kid, I'll need extra seats. I won't be selling any of my current or future sports cars to drive a kid-friendly car. Would also consider an M5 that I could put winter tires on. I also have a weird longing for a Ducati 1199 or 848 but I'll probably kill myself, so no lol.
Another consideration is a condo closer to D.C., I don't want an hour long commute for the rest of my life and our current house is too big lol. Something with 3-4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and ~3000 square feet with at least 4 parking spaces in a parking garage that I could buy would work better. It would be in a much nicer location so it would cost more. $1mil range. 30yr mortgage though so it won't affect my car situation too much.
Haha yeah I don't see her wanting or me buying her a 500hp super sedan. She'll probably want a 335i or Porsche Cayman next. She's not a speed freak like I am. It just has to be cute, fun to drive, and easy to park. And it needs room for when she goes out and spends all my $$$$.

What cars do you have? That's nuts lol Last I remember, if I remember correctly, you had an M3..?
Oh shit dude haven't seen you in forever. How ya been? About a year ago I sold the M3 to some rich guy & bought a Ferrari 458. I only have it and my Ford Expedition right now. I was just saying my cars would be worth more than my house if I bought an Aventador Roadster in a few years.
