Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Honestly, I think the answer is quite clear. I could type out all of the information and statistics, but I think that this video just about sums up the importance of NASA. (I also recommend part 2)

I am creating this thread because I am curious if anyone here disagrees, and why they disagree. I don't see any reason not to raise NASA's budget from 4/10 of a penny to one penny on a tax dollar, to an individual person I doubt an extra 6/10 of a penny would be noticed.

It would really be a shame to see NASA die out someday due to lack of funding, and I hope that someday NASA's budget will return to the point where they are able to fund missions to the moon, missions to mars, and advance deeper and deeper into space.

That's the biggest load of crap I've read in weeks. You just pulled all of that 'common knowledge' right out of your ass and completely disregarded logic. Fortunately people other than yourself, musky123, make the decisions for us as a society.

I think NASA should had the same budget the military have to cut down on errors. Think of the many great astronauts had died trying to get into space. If the budget was were smaller, less missions and more preparation time to make sure things run smoother. I know testing is a must but when there is a tight grip on how many test can be runned, then people will understand the importance of a dollar.

Hey, don't forget... there is a lot of technology that is used today that could have only be made because of NASA doing what they did.

NASA should be funded, we are eventually going to run out of space here on earth and we will run out of goods, being able to move from different planets with the ability to continue survival is going to be the next big thing.

Yes, it is going to take years just to get to mars but if we figure out some way to double the speed in space, that cuts time in half to get there.
