(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Evening all,

We're trying to gauge if vBookie is still a popular feature.. we understand some of you still enjoy it but we have to look at it in proportion with the entire user-base and decide if it's still used as much as it once was and is worth keeping.

Please vote in the poll and we'll make a decision that we feel is best for the website and its users. The results of this poll (yes to no ratio) will not make up our decision in its entirety, as although I would expect it to favour 'yes' (as the people who would bother voting in this are likely to be in favour, those who aren't are just disinterested) it is more of a matter of how many people do.

Honestly vBookie would receive alot more traffic if it is advertised correctly.

Ex,

You must login or register to view this content.

You must login or register to view this content.

Thread received about 150 views, about double what a normal event receives. This occurred because Ownage advertised it in the Shoutbox during the day and has enough influence over members that they will go and look at the event.

Both of these threads only received more than average views because of the advertising he is able to do. Putting a notice in the top of the Shoutbox does not produce results. As this does not provide the influence that some members have on the site. For example if an Admin advocated in the Shoutbox to go bid on a certain event, I'm sure that event would have 30+ bids. Whether these people know what their betting on does not matter, as long as it is advocated by a person with "e fame" or higher status on this site, people will follow.

Anyways that's just my take.

We do? Premium is only there as a reward to those who've donated, it's not there because it's an active section.

Just to add to virus's post when CLM posted the President Election I think it was close to 300 people betting

Most threads advertised in the SB get a lot more views than that, if anything that says more to me.

Anyway, I better close this one as it's descended into vBookies getting over-defensive and arguing with/groaning everyone.
