We're trying to gauge if vBookie is still a popular feature.. we understand some of you still enjoy it but we have to look at it in proportion with the entire user-base and decide if it's still used as much as it once was and is worth keeping.

Please vote in the poll and we'll make a decision that we feel is best for the website and its users. The results of this poll (yes to no ratio) will not make up our decision in its entirety, as although I would expect it to favour 'yes' (as the people who would bother voting in this are likely to be in favour, those who aren't are just disinterested) it is more of a matter of how many people do.

Respect my authoritah!!
I'm voting yes on this.

It's certainly not as used as it used to be, but we still have a lot of members who enjoy using it and probably would like to continue to do so. I don't see a reason to take it away :p

I have two sides to this.

Yes, get rid of it.
As far as I'm concerned about Bookie, it's just another way that members earn ridiculous amounts of vBux without putting major work in. vBux is massively inflated already, and has been for a while. That, plus the fact some certain past Bookies have seemed not to give a shit about the system, either not posting or not settling events. If there's less people using it, why keep it?

No, keep it.
There's a reason I put this part second. It doesn't matter how many or how little users actually use (or abuse) the vBookie system, if there's people using it on a daily basis, you're removing a feature for them to use. Not just that, but if you did get rid of it you'd need to find a new feature for people to waste vBux on, otherwise everyone would end up with millions. Another thing to think about is, if you get rid of it, there is going to be tons of suggestions about bringing it back, lots of PM hate, and users could even threaten to leave the site. At least if it's there, you are giving them a choice whether or not to use it, rather than removing the option completely. In addition, what would you be saying to all the vBookies who have worked on the site, past and present? "Thanks for everything but we have no use for you now.". As far as I'm concerned, scrapping Bookie will only bring more problems, and so I have voted to keep it.

Personally speaking, I dislike vBookie. I think it's pointless. I think I've only used it about three times, max. But that's just me.

It's good but It would be better if you could put more vBux on bets, like 2 or 3 million & better odds too. Well maybe that would get loads of people too much vBux then vBux would become worthless but yeh just improve the amount of vBux you get back.

AND KEEP vBookie BECAUSE deneo24 LOVES vBookie'n LOL

I really don't see a point in NGU getting rid of the vBookie and I will say this not because I am a vBookie myself but because of what I think is the correct choice.

1) vBookie may be only used by its loved few but its still a big thing on here to them.

2) It gives people a way to take a bet without actually worrying that they are going to lose real money! I mean yea we all wan't to win but c'mon.

3) The bookies right now are working extra, extra hard. Well I know I have been and from what I see so are some others. I enjoy doing this to help NGU, please do not take it away.

Do a barrel roll!
Even though I rarely use it I voted yes because all the people that do use it would be upset and so would the vbookie mods.

I'm not sure if it's a feature we should be heavily promoting though. It's only there because a few members enjoy it, so why should it need promoting? If anything the fact in itself that it needs promoting says to me that perhaps its past its time.
