(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Evening all,

We're trying to gauge if vBookie is still a popular feature.. we understand some of you still enjoy it but we have to look at it in proportion with the entire user-base and decide if it's still used as much as it once was and is worth keeping.

Please vote in the poll and we'll make a decision that we feel is best for the website and its users. The results of this poll (yes to no ratio) will not make up our decision in its entirety, as although I would expect it to favour 'yes' (as the people who would bother voting in this are likely to be in favour, those who aren't are just disinterested) it is more of a matter of how many people do.

I voted yes. When I was a vBookie mod I had a great time. Im very upset that I had to give it up because of school. Keep vBookie. We cant lose it.

Only a select few(by few I mean group) participate in bookie events. And not only that but the vBux is inflated to such an extreme that people can give out millions and bounce back within days.

I see an overwhelming biased from vBookie moderators... are they really voting to keep it because they enjoy it or because they don't want to lose their position as event staff. This shit really reminds me of the removal of Sectional Moderator... literally everyone bitched about it's removal. The removal of Sectional Moderator affected no one but Sectional Moderators and other members of the moderation team but it sure caused an uproar among members.

In the end... it's a lost cause, deal with it.

Lol'd at this. Sectils, Mods , Super Mods , what will be next? Shoutbox Mods or Mini Mods? lol is not the same & u know.

The problem is that vbookie has always been the same so maybe revamp it so people will continue to use it

but there is only one reason to use vbookie is for vbux and alot of people have millions of vbux already so they don't care for vbux as they don't need it for anything

Im not sure if it should stay or not

I voted to keep it.
I see no harm in it, most are mistaken about the richest users gaining all of their vbux from Vbookie. They get them in the auctions sections and other places.
It has been on NGU from the start, must we change everything on the site to become new and improved?

If the argument for its closure is not enough use by the general membership, then we should be prepared to close half of the sections on NGU. I'm willing to bet some Vbux that Vbookie gets a alot more activity than Xbox section and several others.

Leave it open for now, Consider this poll as a announcement that it is being looked at for review, and start trying to find an addition or alternative for it and what to do with Vbux.

The poker system was fun and disposed of a lot of vbux. There must be other things that can be done to spend Vbux on and if the major concern is Vbux inflation and the amount some users have, than a cap system can be done.

I see no reason to do away with Vbookie, especially for the reason that "I don't play it so get rid of it"

Just my thoughts on it...

You like doing it, what does that change. If vBookie was removed now all your work would be wasted. If you retire next month, all your work will be wasted. Every way: Your work is for nothing.

NGU is a gaming site, not a sports or bookie site. "NextGenUpdate is a gaming community filled with Reviews, Up-to-date glitches, Next-Gen news, and an all around great community."
