If this was World War 2 with Nazi Germany and it's allies, then I'd find it more acceptable but going in with high tech weapons, invading a land because the rich think they could get oil, just no.

If you have ever analyzed this stuff, you would know the people there are just like us but with a view of their own. Who is actually correct is the question you need to ask. Is it us? Is it them? Really, it's nobody. No one is right and no one is wrong. We find it wrong because they oppose our interest. That right there gives legitimacy to killing them. They too have families, they too struggle to survive, they too are humans.

Why is it that it is OK to kill someone in the Military and make it out as a sport, as some game or record. It is not sport when you sit a mile away holding a sniper and kill someone who expects nothing. These people in the military today who go in for killing, not everyone but that 1/4 of the military, are scum in my opinion. Why is this? If you want a sport, tell these fuckers to get off their stomach, take a knife and go face off against another man and see how much of a beast they are when they feel the flesh tear of another man.

That right there is what many people in WW1 and WW2 had to know and understand. Today, very very little of our men face this fact, they just sit around with high powered automatic weapons and snipers and blast the enemy away.

Your Against Military yet would support WWII. quit contradicting yourself because you don't understand in non western society killing people is ok and we grow up programmed not to kill so they have to have somthing to help you. you will never understand until your there with your closemindedness

First of all, many of these people over there are not told to kill, they are not programmed to kill. Many of them would rather live peacefully, it's the extremists that we need to worry about, much like the extremists we have in the United States.

What would you do if you had people invading your country, peaceful or not you would step up and go to war, that's what many of these people are doing.

WW2 compared to today are two entirely different wars. WW2 we went to war for multiple reasons; there was two choices, either do nothing and let them dominate or join in and win.

Hell, there was a point where it seemed like in WW2 that we might have had our own asses kicked but thankfully pulled ahead.

Today, war isn't necessary; most war today is politically driven by the leaders at our top who want to put more money in their pockets. They don't give a shit about who goes, as long as it helps them.

War in the past has not always been politically driven, if you have ever studied World Civilization, especially before the 1700's, you would see a major different and how as time passes, it becomes more and more politically driven.

The World Wars, we tried to stay out of them; we did our best but it got to the point where we had to step in; we were forced to. There is no dispute there. Yes, politics played a role but it wasn't the primary reason for including ourselves in it.
